Privacy policy
A plain-language, complete account of how we handle information. Last updated July 2026.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers Senior Safety Pro, published by Honeygoat GmbH (Kägenstrasse 21, 4153 Reinach, Switzerland). It does not cover the sites of matching partners, installers, or other third parties we link to — see "When you request a quote or call" below.
What we collect
We aim to collect as little as possible. This site uses privacy-first, cookieless analytics (a self-hosted Umami instance) that measure page visits in aggregate without setting tracking cookies, without collecting IP addresses in identifiable form, and without identifying you across the web. We do not run our own quote form on this site and do not ask you for your name, phone number, or email address here. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) are generated by our hosting provider for security and uptime purposes and are not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes — for example, if we enable display advertising — this section will be updated first, and where required by law we will provide a cookie consent mechanism before any non-essential cookie is set.
When you request a quote or call
If you click a "get matched" or "request a quote" button, you are handed off to a matching partner's own site and form. That partner — not Senior Safety Pro — collects your name, address, phone number, and project details, and their own privacy policy and consent terms govern that data, including any TCPA consent for phone or text contact. If you call a phone number shown on a page, that call may be tracked by a call-tracking partner for attribution purposes (which installer or campaign the call came from); we do not receive a recording or transcript of the call content. We do not collect or store your quote-request details ourselves.
Advertising and links
Some links earn us a referral or affiliate fee, always disclosed on the page — see how we make money. Where display advertising is present (currently none is active on this site), it is provided by third-party ad networks subject to their own privacy policies and opt-out tools.
Children's privacy
Senior Safety Pro is intended for adults researching home-safety decisions and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights (California and other states)
Because we do not collect personal information directly through this site, there is very little of yours for us to hold, sell, or share — but you still have rights under applicable state privacy laws, and here is how they apply:
- California (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or "share" (as that term is defined for cross-context behavioral advertising) personal information, because we do not collect any directly. If that ever changes, this policy and an opt-out mechanism (including honoring the Global Privacy Control signal) will be added first.
- Other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, and others as they take effect) give residents similar rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. The same applies here: we have nothing of yours on file because we don't collect it on this site.
- Requests about a partner. If you submitted a quote request or called a tracked number, your data is held by that matching partner or installer, not by us — contact them directly, or contact us at the email below and we will point you to the right partner.
To exercise any right, or with any privacy question, email editor@seniorsafetypro.com. We do not charge a fee for a legitimate request and will not discriminate against you for making one.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
Because this site does not use tracking cookies or cross-site advertising identifiers, "Do Not Track" browser signals have no additional effect here. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out preference for any future data sale or sharing, consistent with California law.
International operation
Honeygoat GmbH is organized in Switzerland and operates Senior Safety Pro as a service directed at U.S. residents. Any information our hosting or analytics providers process in the ordinary course of running the site is handled under their own security and privacy commitments; we do not transfer personal information internationally because we do not collect it directly.
Security
We use HTTPS site-wide and rely on our hosting provider's infrastructure security. Because quote-request data is captured on our partners' forms rather than ours, our security obligations focus on protecting the integrity and availability of the content itself.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page as our practices or the law change and note the date of significant updates above. Material changes to what we collect (for example, adding our own lead form or a behavioral-advertising network) will be reflected here before they go live.
